Course Overview
Running a successful business can be difficult by itself, but handling the intricacies of childcare management presents its own set of challenges. This course will explore the current state of the child care industry and everything that goes on behind the scenes to create nurturing environments for our most vulnerable populations.

- Understand the importance of a quality childcare program.
- Be knowledgeable about the local licensing requirements and changes and also identify how to find resources from regulatory bodies.
- Understand tuition rates and where the dollars go in program costs.
- Understand average salaries for teachers and how merit and tenure increases support staff retention.
- Understand the five dysfunctions of a team and how to turn them into the five functions of a team.
