Course Overview


The foundations of all domains of human development are laid in the first three years of life. Basic to healthy development are the capacities to love, to develop a sense of self, and to adapt to one’s environment to promote the emotional well-being of young children. When we talk about Infant Mental Health, we mean a child’s ability to:

  • communicate in play
  • express and regulate emotion
