Course Overview


Ethical Conduct is every early childhood professional’s foundation for moral practice. Throughout this training we will discuss the four sections of ethical responsibilities, the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct, and how to use this code as a guide for professional decision-making processes. 


Learning Objectives: 

  • Understand ethical responsibilities within the profession of early childhood education and care. 
  • Know the definitions of morality and code of conduct and understand the decision-making processes that guide the work of early childhood.  
  • Understand how our own relationships guide ethical behavior. 
  • Be able to reference and define the core values of ethical behavior in early childhood care and education.
